Journal de Bord de Ninurta

Matricule : STAR-CDSW-MKV5

Lieu : Système Stanton, ArcCorp, Area18

Date : Samedi 22 novembre 2949, 15H36 TU

Elle est enfin arrivée. L’International Aerospace Exhibition 2949.

It has finally arrived. The International Aerospace Exhibition 2949. Every year with Asfaha we saved money to find a transport to go there. ArcCorp is not really near Port Olisar. But since he was gone, I no longer had the heart to go. I preferred to save money to leave the system. Until this year. Thanks to the Scorpions I have my own ship and the missions I carry out with them allow me to have the means to maintain it. So I flew to ArcCorp aboard the old Mustang. He held on even though I wondered several times if he was just going to let go in the middle of space. I landed at Area 18 two days before the start of the expo and I did well. There are already so many people. I managed to buy myself a ticket for the whole week and the program. For housing…. I will sleep in the Mustang. One day, one builder. More or less. Monday, Anvil Aerospace opens the ball and sponsors the IAE. The Valkyrie is rather common and the F7C collection has a very pleasant retro look. Captain Nirky decorated his own with a pin-up on a heart. Him, an old backpacker smoking a cigar. I find that this ship denotes alongside it. Tuesday will be devoted to Roberts Space Industry, I haven't seen a lot of Constellations in my life, but Auroras ... I hate their design. However, I have never seen a Mantis up close. It makes a good opportunity. Kruger Intergalactic has only two ships at my knowledge. For Consolidated Outland, apart from the Mustang series, they did nothing, it seems to me. Tumbril specializes in land vehicles, so the three of them will have trouble filling the whole hall on Wednesday. I'll take a look, maybe they're looking for flight engineers. Thursday there will be Argo Astronautics, Musashi Industrial & Starflight Concern (MISC) and Crusader Industries. I don't know the Argo ships, they don't really revolve around Crusader. For MISC, apart from the freelancer and the linker I think I have never seen one. I think I must have repaired a prospector’s mining unit. Crusader specializes in combat ships. This and the fact that their main factory is just minutes Quantum from Olisar means that I have never managed to get my hands on a Crusader ship. And that's a shame. The Scorpions may have their access remark…

I will have to inquire. After that, another day with several small manufacturers. But not humans this time. The Xi’an Aopoa Company and the Banu ships. I don't know any Xi’an ship, but the Scorpions have a few Defender Banu. The animal style of the carcass at rest is rather pleasant to look at. For Esperia, I didn't even know this company existed until I saw his name on the program. After this plethora of small manufacturers, we end up with the big ones. Aegis Dynamics is on day six of the IAE. Between the Avengers, the Gladiuses, the Sabers, the Vanguard and another Reclaimer, without forgetting the eternal caracal of Captain Nirky, I know this manufacturer rather well. I’ve seen plenty of Aegis’wrecks go by. I think Scorpions are pretty fond of this kind of ship. The next day it will be Drake Interplanetary. I believe they were the makers of the Slayers' Caterpillar. And Cutlass. But I will have to check. I think they make motorcycles too. And on the last day, Origin Jumpworks GmbH. What can I love about the clean lines of their ships. The absence of frills in the designs. However, they have a problem with the numbers! 300i, 600i, X1, 315p, 85X. And the other cruise ship. A sort of luxury yacht ... the 890J I think. Anyway, I’m super excited to see all these ship and spend the whole week admiring the beautiful cabins. With any luck, I might even take a look under the hoods. The Caracal is not yet out of the woods. And then I have the old Mustang to keep afloat too. In any case, I can't wait !!
